This practice poses a serious problem for security because it makes passwords vulnerable to so-called dictionary attacks. Lists of commonly used passwords have been collected and classified according to how frequently they are used. Attackers attempt to crack passwords by going through these lists systematically. This method works remarkably well because, in the absence of specific constraints, people naturally choose simple words, surnames, first names and short sentences, which considerably limits the possibilities. In other words, the nonrandom selection of passwords essentially reduces possibility space, which decreases the average number of attempts needed to uncover a password.
Please call the Dealer Services (contact information on Contact page). Please have serial number(s) ready. Firearms received without a Service Request number will be refused and returned to the sender.

Sears should be held responsible for such a dangerous product. They refused to help us. Said model #FGE serial #NF had no recalls.
I purchased a Frigidaire Electric smooth top range January 2016 model FGEF3058RFA and Serial #VF54722081. Frigidaire was unresponsive and I do not find any warnings on their website. Buyer beware.

They gave me a phone # 787 707 5200, this service is connected to Mexico and they only do a service to be charged. I called another # 787 706 5300 but no one answer. Is there anyone out there to help me with my stove?
I shared my comment on June 19th and forgot to include my Vin and serial number. This malfunction of this range is unacceptable. I had to go buy a new stove. Fire hazard!!! Vin. LGEF3033KBASerial no. VF91669381
I came home to my left burner on! I've been out of town and so greatful I was home. I unplugged the Frigidaire stove. I called the number on the sticker in the bottom drawer. They told me my serial number was not on the recall list and there was nothing they could do for me! This is absolutely wrong! This is absolutely wrong! I have never had a stove malfunction like this in my entire life and I'm a senior citizen. They told me the engineers are aware of all the stoves that need to be recalled. I question that! Especially because the engineers can't be in everyone's home when this happens!!! I am in shock they will not be responsible for their own product!
We inherited a Frigidaire Gallery smooth top oven/range when we purchased our home. (Model #GLEF378AQB, Serial #VF13013618, purchased by original owner in 2001.) Two days ago, I turned the oven on to 325 degrees to warm leftovers in Pyrex glass pans. 30-45 minutes later I heard popping and hissing noises. Checked and food was a charred mess in bottom of pans) and there was black smoke in the oven. Turned off oven. Opened windows and turned on fans as smoke alarm was going off. Was able to get smoking pans out of oven without getting burned. Realized that oven had not gone off!! Heating elements in bottom of oven were still burning bright red even after several minutes! Oven must have never stopped heating up when it reached 325 degrees! Did not believe I could safely pull oven out away from wall by myself to unplug it. Luckily thought to run down to the basement to turn off the breaker! I, too, called Electrulux and Frigidaire and spoke to six people in various departments from customer care to repair to recall and was told my model and serial number are not on the recall list. They definitely should be! After reading the many "repairs" in previous posts that did NOT fix the problems, I will replace all of the Frigidaire appliances in my kitchen and will never buy a Frigidaire or Electrolux appliance. My next call will be to the Consumer Protection agencies and maybe even to my local media. The fire danger is real!
I have model number 790.9611940 but my serial number starts with VF745..... When I turn the front element down, it will return to high temperature within a few seconds. So far, to my knowledge it has not turned itself on. How to I report this problem to the consumer protection agency for them to look into recalling these ranges?
We had our oven on Sunday. When i heard a crackling noise and went into the kitchen. the left back element was on . Burning bright red and had melted a container that was on the stove. Burning bright red and had melted a container that was on the stove. We could not turn it off as it wasn't turned on to begin with. We ended up flipping the breaker switch and kept it off until the repair man came today. Big help he was. He had me turn the breaker back on, then stood there and turned the elements on and off. Then wrote on the work sheet. Nothing wrong? Hello there is something wrong if the element comes on itself. I also input the model and serial numbers and got already fixed. Really when? So I have let it be known that if my kitchen catches on fire I will be going after the repair company.
About 8 months ago I noticed some little sparking when I turned on a top burner. At first it didn't seem to be a big problem. Over time it has gotten worse; on the football's big game day, the oven took waaaaay too long to heat up to bake a thin pizza...the pizza never baked. Since then there has been not only sparking but sometimes a loud popping noise. Over time it has gotten worse; on the football's big game day, the oven took waaaaay too long to heat up to bake a thin pizza...the pizza never baked. Since then there has been not only sparking but sometimes a loud popping noise. It was scary so I called my local Energy company to please check the home's voltage. The voltage coming to the house was well within range. On today's TODAY SHOW I saw the news about recalls. Then I called Kenmore who sent me to Frigidaire whose waiting time was VERY long. I then went to Sears who gave me another phone number to call. Before calling that last recommended phone #, I looked up the model numbers and entered my SN. The purchase of my range was in February of 2006, within the range of concern (June 2001 - August 2009).When I looked up using the serial #, the response was: "probably not a problem"...or already fixed. The "not a problem" is not true for me. We were never alerted to recalls, and it certainly hasn't been fixed. Today a friend had me turn OFF the switch in the electric box downstairs so the range cannot be used now. 350c69d7ab
