Detroit: Become Human, at one point a PS4 exclusive, will run on PCs that have at least a GeForce GTX 660 alongside at least a Core i5-2400. Your decisions will dictate how the story plays out. How will you impact the future of humanity?

The popular game from Quantic Dream, Detroit: Become Human, now has an official PC release date of December 12, 2019. This is the same studio that brought you Beyond: Two Souls back in 2013, which is another title that made its way to PC recently. Detroit: Become Human is set in the year 2038 and technology has evolved so much that human-like androids are now part of society in a servant-like capacity. This third person adventure game is driven heavily by the dialogue choices and in-game decisions you make and plays out almost like a movie. Prepare to follow the story of three unique androids on PC very soon, but in order to do that, you will need a computer that passes the system requirements test.

Set in the not-too-distant future of 2038, Detroit finds humanity facing several familiar issues. Global warming remains a constant problem, Russia-US relations are in the toilet, and unemployment continues to skyrocket. While this world looks very similar to our own, one enormous difference stands out: androids. Created by a company called CyberLife, these human-like creations have permeated many aspects of everyday life. In fact, androids have taken over a lot of jobs once held by humans, resulting in a major jump in unemployment. As a result, many people have a very poor opinion of their artificial counterparts and their place in society, resulting in some chilly relations between man and machine.

Quantic Dream and Writer/Director David Cage gave us BAFTA award-winning gameplay in the past with 2010's Heavy Rain. On May 25th, their PS4 exclusive game Detroit: Become Human hits download queues around the world and promises again to take the player into another new and exciting world. In Collider Gaming's debut video, Cage talks about the complexity of building a multi-branched story with real consequences, heavy subject matter, and three protagonists in the form of androids Kara, Markus, and Connor. Cage takes the viewer deep into the game's influences, how he constructed the extensive world of the game, and reveals how he brought all the elements together to create the game.
